William P. Lyons, EBI Services, Inc., recalled that the City started the <br />program two.years ago and reviewed the process of setting up the safety goals <br />for the City. He noted the significant reduction in the number of City -wide <br />accidents under the program, which is particularly apparent in the Police i <br />Department. Mr. Lyons then presented Police Chief Guardino with the City of - <br />Redwood City Loss Control Award 1983 -84, for reducing the number and cost of <br />job - related injuries in the Police Deprtment <br />Mayor Britschgi commended Mr. Lyons for the report and the effectiveness of <br />the program. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Titles read.
