Public Hearing - Proposed vacation of public service <br />easement, 2429 Edith Avenue (RESOLUTION NO. 9707, <br />adopted 10/1/84; Report of City Manager and Director of <br />Public Works 9/25/84) ((702 -06) <br />Affidavits of Publication and of Posting on fi le. <br />Director of Public Works Addiego presented the item and referred to a sketch <br />of the area. He noted that the utility companies have indicated no objection <br />to the requested abandonment, with the exception of a small triangular <br />section which is to be retained for the use of Pacific Bell and PG &E. <br />Mayor Br itschg i declared the Public Hearing open at 7:37 p.m. <br />James Fowler, 2429 Edith Avenue, explained that the abandonment of the <br />easement will allow construction of an additional room to his house.
