<br />Roger Torkelson replied to questions regarding his appraisal in rela- <br />tion to the statements of Mr. Galligan concerning consideration of <br />financial arrangements, inclusion of carpeting, marketing devaluation <br />and access to financial information by the appraiser. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schricker requested that each application be considered <br />separately. <br /> <br />M/S: Britschgi/Biagi to deny the application of Michael Galligan, 64 <br />Cove Lane, Parcel 111-690-050, for assessment adjustment. <br /> <br />Carried by majority voice vote which Mayor Stangel determined to be <br />4-2. MINUTE ORDER NO. 83-9 <br /> <br />MIS: BritschgilBiagi to deny the application of Joy Shipstad and June <br />Shipstad, 68 Cove Lane, Parcel 111-690-030, for adjustment of <br />assessment. <br /> <br />Carried by majority voice vote which Mayor Stangel determined to be <br />5-1. MINUTE ORDER NO. 83-10 <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Mark R. Kroll, Shorebird Solar Corporation, 30800 North Wolfe Road, <br />Cupertino, stated that he does not believe the assessed value of his <br />companyls 90 units reflects full market value, since the units had <br />never been sold as of the March 1,1982 date. Mr. Kroll described the <br />financing arrangements offered in an attempt to sell the units and <br />suggested actual value is therefore less than the sale price might <br />indicate. Mr. Kroll said his firm is asking for an assessed value <br />based on the actual construction cost of the units. <br /> <br />Discussion followed and Mr. Torkelson commented and replied to <br />questions concerning the appraisal procedure and the request of <br />Sh oreb i rd So 1 a r. <br /> <br />MIS: MosherlBritschgi to continue the public hearing on the applica- <br />tion for assessment adjustment of Shorebird Solar Corporation, 30800 <br />North Wolfe Road, Cupertino, Parcel: Book 111, Pages 600, 610, 620, <br />630, for 90 improved condominiums, until February 7, 1983 pending <br />receipt of additional complete information. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 83-11 <br /> <br />It was requested that in the future copies of all applications for <br />assessment adjustment be provided to Council along with the response <br />from the appraiser which is to be presented in a comprehensive, <br />consistent format which is essentially the same for each application <br />and response. (Memo 1/18/83) <br /> <br />It was also requested that with regard to the application from <br />Shorebird Solar that since the applicant is requesting each parcel be <br />considered separately that the information from the appraiser be <br />provided in the same form.
