Petition from some 125 residents of Roosevelt Road area petitioning for budget funds to be allocated for repaving of Roosevelt Avenue. M /S: Biagi/Mosher to refer the subject petition to the budget study sessions for 1983 -84 for consideration of establishment of priority. Carried unanimously by voice vote. Councilman Biagi asked City Attorney Schricker for an opinion as to whether it is legally proper for a member of the Planning Commission to testify at a City Council public hearing on a matter on which the Commissioner has voted in his quasi - judicial position as a member of the Commission, suggesting that a moral conflict exists, even if a legal conflict does not. (memo 3/22/83) 2. Councilman Claire called attention to the report that Charlie Grier of Evergreen Savings has volunteered to serve in the vacant position on the Housing and Human Concerns Committee which has been open since the resignation of C. J. Lucot. M /S: Claire /Biagi to thank Charlie Grier for his willingness to serve and to appoint him to the vacancy on the Housing and Human Concerns Committee, effective immediately.
