The Iow bid <br /> is 8.5% above the estimate. <br /> The bid from MCSi has been reviewed by Chades Salter and Associates and is <br /> considered a good and responsive bid. MCSi is a national organization that has <br /> performed these types of installations for large corporations, television studios, and <br /> conference centers. <br /> <br /> Alternatives <br /> 1. Not do the project and leave the audio/visual system as it is now. <br /> <br /> 2. Eliminate some par~s of the installation. <br /> <br /> Fiscal Impacts <br /> Funds in the amount of $141,500 are remaining in the FY 2001-02 Capital Improvement <br /> Program budget under City Attorney Office Renovation. This account was identified as <br /> the funding source when Council authorized the design.
