Public Hearing - Final Application for $217,000 of <br />Supplemental Community Development Block Grant Funds <br />related to "Jobs Bill" (Public Law 98 -8) (705 -02) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Planning 6/1/83 <br />Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing is on file. <br />Mayor Stangel declared open 10:50 p.m. <br />Jack Greenalch, 870 Seminole, representing the Housing and Human Concerns <br />Committee, stated that the Committee had recommended the entire $217,000 <br />for the subject program be allocated to a Local Economic Development <br />Corporation (LEDC). <br />City Manager Smith reported that the staff recommendation is to allocate <br />funds for Hoover School Park ($82,000) and Redwood Shores Parkway <br />($50,000) with the remainder to go to an LEDC, because funds may be <br />required for those projects during the six months period for establishment <br />of an LEDC. <br />Title read.
