Public Hearing - Final Application for Ninth Year Community Development Block Grant Program (705 -02) Report of City Manager and Director of Planning 5/13/83 Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing on file. Mayor Stangel declared open 10:23 p.m. City Manager Smith and Housing Coordinator Church replied to questions and commented regarding proposals recommended to be funded; the possibility of extending the housing rehabilitation program outside the Target Area; whether or not a landbanking fund is desirable; whether use of such a fund might be made elsewhere, if needed later; present income for rehabilita- tion loans; and what is covered by the funds allocated to administration. In response to request of Councilman Mosher, Mr. Church said that he will furnish a breakdown on program administration costs to her. (memo 6/7/83) Jack Greenalch, 870 Seminole Way, representing the Housing and Human Con- cerns Committee, reported that the Committee did not consider the proposed reduction in the allocation for housing rehabilitation to provide an allocation for landbanking, but that the Committee otherwise recommends the proposals they made and which were approved by the Planning Commission be adopted. Mayor Stangel invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to speak. M /S: Claire /Biagi to close the public Hearing.
