3. M /S: Bury /Britschgi that $25,000 be added to the Library budget (LEISURE, CULTURAL AND INFORMATION SERVICES, Information Services - Library) for the purpose of keeping the Main Library open Saturday mornings with the pos- sibility of closing on Thursday evenings and opening of other branches to be examined by the City Librarian. CLARIFICATION: City Librarian Vollmayer said that he would like to be permitted to review records of use for Saturdays in order to schedule the hours the Main Library is open for the hours of heaviest use. Councilman Bury accepted Mr. Vollmayer's request. The motion carried on the following roll call vote: Ayes: Councilmen Britschgi, Bury, Claire, Mosher and Mayor Stangel Noes: Councilmen Biagi, Rhodes 4. Transportation Capital Improvements (Page 35) Director of Public Works Addiego replied to questions and commented regarding the projects listed and the funds available from Gas Tax Revenue. 5. M /S: Claire /Bury that instead of adding $316,000 to the budget to fund the 10.8 positions proposed to be eliminated, to reduce reserves by that amount and apply it to retain them and that any reduction of positions be through attrition. CONSENSUS: Mayor Stangel determined it to be the consensus of Council that the Capital Improvement Program be considered at the City Council meeting regularly scheduled for June 20, 1983 MINUTE ORDER NO. 83 -91 - (covers all action taken at meeting) ADJOURNMENT Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the City Council adjourned at 4:20 p.m. to a Neighborhood Meeting at the Roy Cloud School at 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 13, 1983.
