3. M /S: Bury /Britschgi that $25,000 be added to the Library budget (LEISURE, <br />CULTURAL AND INFORMATION SERVICES, Information Services - Library) for the <br />purpose of keeping the Main Library open Saturday mornings with the pos- <br />sibility of closing on Thursday evenings and opening of other branches to be <br />examined by the City Librarian. <br />CLARIFICATION: City Librarian Vollmayer said that he would like to be <br />permitted to review records of use for Saturdays in order to schedule the <br />hours the Main Library is open for the hours of heaviest use. Councilman Bury <br />accepted Mr. Vollmayer's request. <br />The motion carried on the following roll call vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen Britschgi, Bury, Claire, Mosher and Mayor Stangel <br />Noes: Councilmen Biagi, Rhodes <br />4. Transportation Capital Improvements (Page 35) <br />Director of Public Works Addiego replied to questions and commented regarding <br />the projects listed and the funds available from Gas Tax Revenue. <br />5. M /S: Claire /Bury that instead of adding $316,000 to the budget to fund the <br />10.8 positions proposed to be eliminated, to reduce reserves by that amount <br />and apply it to retain them and that any reduction of positions be through <br />attrition. (See also page 8 above) <br />The motion carried on the following roll call vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen Bury, Claire, Mosher and Mayor Stangel <br />Noes: Councilmen Biagi, Rhodes and Vice Mayor Britschgi <br />6. CONSENSUS: Mayor Stangel determined it to be the consensus of Council that <br />the Capital Improvement Program be considered at the City Council meeting <br />regularly scheduled for June 20, 1983 <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 83 -91 - (covers all action taken at meeting) <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the City Council adjourned at <br />4:20 p.m. to a Neighborhood Meeting at the Roy Cloud School at 7:30 p.m., Monday, <br />June 13, 1983. <br />JACQUELINE C.
