Proposed vacation of Shasta Street, between Chestnut <br />and Main Streets (702 -06) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 6/14/83 <br />Director of Public Works Addiego presented the subject report using <br />overhead projections of the intersection. Mr. Addiego reported that B. J. <br />Perry will accept the abandoned property and maintain it as required, and <br />Glenn B. Regan, Vice President of Dynatex Corporation, is satisfied with <br />the solution to the problem of automobiles colliding with his building. <br />Mayor Stangel reported that a petition from about 40 persons living or <br />working in the area and opposed to the proposed abandonment of Shasta <br />Street has been presented to Council this evening. <br />Muriel Brown, 819 Toyon Way, owner of G. R.
