<br />$ <br /> <br />, " <br />0)' i <br /> <br />," <br /> <br />Mr. Ference then presented the appeal of Rochelle Ruth Tunick, <br />owners of Parcel 095-081-030, stating that the assessed value <br />was set at $38,500 and requested to be lowered to $33,500 <br />because of maintenance required to be done on the property in <br />the amount of $11,85~. Mr. Ference reported the value has been <br />reduced to $36,~25, reflecting a reduction in total value of <br />more than $8,000 for the required work. Ms. Tunick was not <br />present. <br /> <br />There being no objection, Mayor Biagi ordered the reduction in <br />assessed value of the Tunick property to $36,425 as described <br />by Mr. Ference. (MINUTE ORDER NO. 82-13) <br /> <br />Mr. Ference then presented the appeal of Harold Winther <br /> <br />Sorensen, owner of Parcel 111-150-170, stating that the <br />assessed value is $31,250 and is requested to be reduced to <br />$29,250 with no significant comments made. He referred to the <br />appraiser's report that property sales substantiate the <br />appraisal. Mr. Sorensen was not present. <br /> <br />MIS: LeipziglBury to accept the assessed value of $31,250 of <br />American Appraisal Associates for the property owned by Harold <br />Winther Sorensen, Parcel No. 111-150-170. <br /> <br />Carried by majority vote, Mayor Biagi reporting one "No" vote. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schricker advised that Mr. Sorensen had paid the <br />$10.00 fee for written findings of fact and that he will prepare <br />them as soon as possible for consideration by the Board. <br />(MINUTE ORDER NO. 82-1~) <br /> <br />Mr. Schricker also advised that the Minutes should show that the <br />Applications for Assessment Adjustment of Mr. Saad, Ms. Tunick <br />and Mr. Soenson, the reports of American Appraisal Associates, <br />Inc. and of the District Assessor are part of the record. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />City Attorney Schricker advised that the Board of Equalization <br />should meet again to hear the report and recommendation of the <br />appraiser following inspection of Mr. Saad's property, observing <br />a meeting can be called when the report is ready. <br /> <br />MIS: LeipziglStangel to adjourn. <br />Carried unanimously and Board of Equalization adjourned at 8:50 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />JACQUELINE C.
