In response to questions, Planning Director Schroeter said that designation of property as an historic landmark has no significant planning consequences, observing that a waiting period for demolition of the structure is required, and there are some restrictions relating to alterations which might affect the character of the building. Ken Rolandelli, 2466 Oregon, and Dale Meyer, 303 Myrtle Street, members of the Redwood City Historic Preservation Advisory Committee, presented slides illustrating the buildings proposed for historic landmark designation.
