<br />AGENDA (continued) <br /> <br />REPORTS OF CITY MANAGER (continued) <br /> <br />Item No.3 (continued) <br /> <br />ACTION TAKEN (continued) <br /> <br />REPORTS OF CITY MANAGER (continued) <br /> <br />M/S: Bury/Rhodes to approve in concept the <br />abandonment of Shasta Street between Chestnut <br />Street and Main Street to Mr. B. J. Perry, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. sidewalk, curb, gutter and roadway <br />pavement in the area to be abandoned shall <br />be removed; <br /> <br />2. new curb, gutter and sidewalk shall be <br />installed on Chestnut Street and Main <br />Street to the intersection of Chestnut and <br />Main Streets; <br /> <br />3. a new curb return shall be installed on <br />the northeast corner of the triangular <br />park section to increase the curb radius <br />for vehicles turning right from Chestnut <br />to Main Street northbound; <br /> <br />4. the existing traffic signal pole located <br />in the triangular section shall be <br />relocated to the new sidewalk area; <br /> <br />5. the existing manhole located on Shasta at <br />the intersection of Chestnut, on the <br />northwest corner, shall be razed and a new <br />manhole installed; and an easement shall <br />be provided to this manhole to allow <br />maintenance of the storm line and any <br />other utility lines that currently exist <br />beneath this abandoned portion of Shasta <br />Street. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 82-24 <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />4. Report re Cooperative Housing Project - <br />Redwood Shores (Sandpiper Court) <br /> <br />Report of City Manager 2/24/82 <br /> <br />City Manager Smith reviewed the subject <br />report, stating that if the recommendation is <br />approved and the Sandpiper Court Cooperative <br />obtains financing, staff would provide a <br />definitive report as to source of funds, <br />guarantees and appropriate interest. <br /> <br />City Attorney Schricker pointed out that a <br />number of "ifs" exist, but Council may accept <br />the recommendation at this time. <br /> <br />M/S: Rhodes/Chandler to accept the <br />recommendation of the City'Manager contained <br />in his report of February 23, 1982 relating <br />to the Sandpiper Court Cooperative Housing <br />Project in Redwood Shores, as follows: <br />to authorize the reprogramming of CDBG funds <br />from the following: <br /> <br />r--' <br /> <br />R <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />3/1/82 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />. , <br />
