Ford, 360 Bowsprit Drive, Residents for Sensible Housing, appellant, <br />referred to his appeal letter of April 23, 1982 and presented a copy of a <br />letter to Samuel R. Pierce, Jr., Secretary of the Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development (HUD) signed by Carol M. Ford for the Sub-Committee Residents <br />for Sensible Housing, Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, and a petition <br />reported to contain 800 original signatures of Redwood Shores residents against <br />the Planning Commission decision to approve the Planned Development Permit for <br />Sandpiper Court Cooperative. Mr. Ford used a slide of the plot plan of Redwood <br />Shores marked to indicate the source of signatures. He also presented packets <br />of material to Council members. Mr. Ford said several persons would speak in <br />support of his appeal as part of his presentation. <br /> <br />Louis Larson, 885 North San Antonio Road, Los Altos, traffic engineer, used <br />a slide to illustrate his remarks regarding parking, stating that there <br />appears to be a difference between the amount of parking usually required <br />for developments and what is proposed, suggesting a deficiency.
