�, .o�� - z, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY TO DIRECT THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO <br /> UNDERTAKE A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY STRATEGIC GENERAL PLAN AND TO PROVIDE <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL WITH RECOMMENDED AMENDMENTS TO THE <br /> STRATEGIC GENERAL PLAN. <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 18, Article XI� of the Redwood City Code (the "Code") sets <br /> forth procedures for amendments of the City of Redwood City Strategic General Plan <br /> (the "General Plan"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the last comprehensive amendment of the General Plan occurred in <br /> 1991; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City (the "City Council") <br /> desires to undertake a comprehensive review and amendment of the General Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 18.61 of the Redwood City Municipal Code provides for the <br /> adoption, by the City Council, of a resolution of intention to direct the City of Redwood <br /> City Planning Commission (the "Planning Commission") to prepare a plan, or part or <br /> element thereof. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> AF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the Planning Commission is directed to undertake a comprehensive review <br /> of the General Plan and provide the Council with recommended amendments to <br /> the General Plan. <br /> 2.
