<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />1/10/94 <br /> <br />RAB:ma 10/27/93 <br />Revised 1/7/94 <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E N O. 1130.290 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 46 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE CIN OF REDWOOD CIN RELATING TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br />PERMITS. <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CIN DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Article 46 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"ARTICLE 46 <br /> <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMITS <br /> <br />Section 46.1 <br /> <br />Purpose. To provide a vehicle for planned development <br /> <br />within the existing zoning districts of the City of Redwood City; to encourage <br /> <br />flexibility of design and development of land in such a manner as to promote its <br /> <br />most appropriate use; to encourage the development of innovative projects which <br /> <br />incorporate the highest quality architectural solutions, building materials, and <br /> <br />landscaping concepts; to promote the most functional and aesthetic relationships <br /> <br />between building structures, signs, open space and parking areas in residential, <br /> <br />commercial and industrial zoning districts; and to encourage the development of <br /> <br />quality open space and recreational opportunities within projects. <br />Section 46.2 Development Permit. A Planned Development Permit may <br /> <br />be issued for any use or structure located in any zoning district pursuant to the <br /> <br />provisions of this article upon application by the property owner. <br /> <br />Section 46.3 <br /> <br />Application. Applications shall be filed with the Planning <br /> <br />Division by the property owners. Every application shall be accompanied by a <br /> <br />reasonable filing fee in an amount as may be established by resolution of the <br /> <br />Council. Such filing fees shall not be refundable. <br /> <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMITS <br />46-1 <br />
