I <br />..' \,ì j! ~;i . <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />--------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1/3ð.8/ <br /> <br />f2 19 .~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 46.1 THROUGH 46.11, <br />INCLUSIVE, OF ARTICLE 46 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE <br />REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AND ADDING SECTIONS <br />46.1 THROUGH 46.12, INCLUSIVE, TO SAID ARTICLE AND <br />ORDINANCE, RELATING TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMITS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Sections 46.1 through 46.11, inclusive, of <br /> <br />Article 46 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood City Zoning Ordi- <br /> <br />nance, adopted May ll, 1964, are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />sections 46.l through 46.l2, inclusive, are <br /> <br />hereby added to Article 46 of said Ordinance No. ll30, to read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Purpose. <br /> <br />To provide a vehicle for <br /> <br />"Section 46.l <br /> <br />planned development within the existing zoning structure <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City; to encourage flexibility of <br /> <br />design and development of land in such a manner as to promote <br /> <br />its most appropriate use; to encourage the use of modern <br /> <br />concepts in the solution of aesthetic and functional problems <br /> <br />in the development of large building sites; to encourage <br /> <br />and allow diversification in the relationship of various <br /> <br />building structures and open spaces in residential building <br /> <br />developments; and to encourage the development of open space <br /> <br />and recreation opportunities close at home. <br /> <br />"Section 46.2 <br /> <br />Development Permit. <br /> <br />In any district <br /> <br />which is also included in a P - Planned Development Combining <br /> <br />District, a planned development permit may be issued for <br /> <br />any use or structure pursuant to the provisions of this <br /> <br />article upon application by the property owner. <br /> <br />"Section 46.3 <br /> <br />Applica tion Fee. <br /> <br />Applications shall <br /> <br />be filed with the Planning Department by the owners of each <br /> <br />parcel affected. <br /> <br />Every application shall be accompanied <br />
