<br />ARTI CLE 12 <br /> <br />CA CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT <br /> <br />SECTION 12.l Purpose. To provide a district for large scale office and <br />administrative useš and buildings to promote the development of employment and <br />administrative activities near the central business district. <br /> <br />SECTION 12.2 Permitted Uses. <br />- - <br />permitted in the CA District: <br /> <br />The following structures and uses are <br /> <br />( a) <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />( c) <br /> <br />( d) <br /> <br />Adminis trative and professional offices. <br /> <br />Medical and dental officest clinics and laboratories. <br /> <br />Business officest banks, title companies, stock exchange. <br /> <br />Research laboratories. <br /> <br />( e) <br /> <br />Printing, publishing, cartography, book binding and lithography. <br /> <br />( f) <br /> <br />Parking lots and garages. <br /> <br />(g) <br />(h) <br /> <br />Schools and studios for arts, crafts, photographYt music and dance. <br /> <br />Public and quasi-public uses except corporation yards, storage or <br />repair yards or warehouses. <br /> <br />( i) <br /> <br />Private clubs, lodges and fraternities. <br /> <br />SECTION l2.3 Accessory Uses. The following structures and uses are <br />permitted in the CA District when aècessory to uses permitted under Sections <br />12 .2 and 12.4: <br /> <br />( a) <br /> <br />Incidental sales and services to serve occupants and patrons of the <br />permitted use, provided such activities are conducted entirely within <br />the main building, the design of which building does not invite the <br />use of these services by the general public. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Other accessory uses and structures customarily appurtenant to a <br />permitted use. <br /> <br />SECTION l2.4 Conditional Uses. The following structures or uses are <br />permitted in the CA District subject to first securing a use permit therefor: <br /> <br />( a) <br /> <br />Schools and studios for arts, trades and professions not including <br />industrial machinery and processes. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Any other use not otherwise listed in this article which is <br />determined by the Commission to be of the same general character <br />of the uses permitted by this article and is not inconsistent with <br />the purpose of this article. <br /> <br />SECTION 12. 5 <br />height. <br /> <br />Hei&ht Regulations. <br /> <br />No structure shall exceed 75 feet in <br /> <br />SECTION 12.6. Lot Area. <br />square feet. <br /> <br />The minimum building site area shall be 6,000 <br /> <br />28 , <br /> <br />but not to such parcels if, subsequent to the adoptlon or thlS ordlnance, <br />that parcel and any adjoining parcel were under the same ownership. <br />
