<br />B. To provide oversight to the work of four ongoing coalitions includit1g: the <br />Peninsula Partnership For Children, Youth and Families; Redwood City <br /> <br />Healthy Start Network, the Violence Prevention Program and the T~en <br />Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County and partnership activitie;; in the <br />High School District. <br />C. Secure the participation of members of the community in the Redwood City <br /> <br />2000 Community Action and Resource Council Community Strategic <br />Planning and implementation effort. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />TERM. This agreement shall be binding on the Parties upon execution of this <br />Agreement by all Parties. This agreement shall be effective July I, 1999 and shall <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />continue in effect through June 30, 2000. <br />TERMINATION. Any party may withdraw from this Agreement by giving the <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />other Parties sixty (60) days written notice. The rights and obligations of the <br />terminating party terminate sixty (60) days after notice is given. <br />STRUCTURE OF THE REDWOOD CITY 20000 COMMUNITY ACTION <br /> <br />AND RESOURCE COUNCIL. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />The Operations Committee: Representatives of each of the Part.es (the <br /> <br />"Operations Committee") shall meet monthly. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Operations Committee shall be composed of one representative from <br /> <br />the County, one representative of the City, one representative each of the school <br />districts, one representative from the nonprofit sector and the Chair of the <br /> <br />Community Action and Resource Council <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Operations Committee shall have the following functions: <br />a) Recruit and hire and/or contract for a Executive Director, .5FTE <br /> <br />Project Administrator, .5FTE Administrative Clerk II and any related <br />support staff for the project. <br />b) Provide leadership for the Community Action and Resource Council. <br />c) Establish operating agreements for the Community Action and <br /> <br />Resource Council. <br />d) Oversee the activities of the Community Action and Resource Council <br /> <br />and its staff. <br /> <br />3 <br />
