<br />If necessary, the Consultant prepared specifications and special provisions shall include <br />requirements to allow the individual utility companies access to the job site in order to <br />relocate their facilities and to ensure cooperation of the Project's General Contractor. <br /> <br />Traffic Signal Svstems - The Consultant shall provide the design and PS&E production <br />for the traffic signal systems along Marine Parkway at Oracle Parkway and Twin Dolphin <br />Parkway. <br /> <br />The Consultant shall provide recommended signal timing and coordination with adjoining <br />signalized intersections for the intersection of Ralston Avenue and Hiller Street. <br /> <br />Stage Construction and Traffic Handling Plans - The Consultant shall prepare stage <br />construction drawings and the corresponding traffic handling plans for all the required <br />work. The construction staging and traffic handling plans shall be developed to minimize <br />traffic disruption to the public and maintain access to all adjacent properties. If required <br />by the work, traffic handling shall also include any temporary detours. The traffic handling <br />plans shall include detailed design, all required signing and striping, and temporary traffic <br />signal modifications, if required. <br /> <br />Landscaoe and Irrigation - The studies and technical work required for this subtask shall <br />be provided by the Consultant and shall be performed by MM Design as a subconsultant <br />to CCS Planning and Engineering. <br /> <br />This task will provide landscape design to address the areas impacted by the proposed <br />improvements at the locations described in the "General Description of Work." The <br />Consultant shall meet with the City to address standards, sight distance requirements, and <br />maintenance issues related to landscaping. The landscaping plans shall include plant <br />massing, plant list, typical irrigation layouts, and construction details. <br /> <br />Quantities and Estimates - The Consultant shall prepare contract quantities and <br />corresponding construction cost estimates and update them for each submittal. <br /> <br />The contract items bid list shall be organized to segregate the work at distinct locations to <br />allow for the determination of costs associated with different funding responsibilities. <br /> <br />Final quantity calculations shall be checked and included in the final PS&E package. <br />Included in this sub-task is preparation of the set of design cross-sections by the <br />Consultant, these cross-sections shall not be a part of the bid set of plans, but will be <br />available at the time of bidding. <br /> <br />Specifications and Special Provisions - Project specifications and special provisions will be <br />prepared for the project.
