<br />Damage to PubliC Property., Permitteéshall reimburse the 'City for
<br />the costs for any damages to City owned property inthevicinityof the
<br />. . desig nated route, caused by or arising out of, the conducting of the event
<br />, permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to act, of persons
<br />participating in'said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon
<br />publicproperty,including the public right-of-way in connection with said
<br />event shall be removed immediately following said event.

<br />
<br />Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate
<br />rules, regulations and laws applicable to any and all activities which are
<br />part of or associated with said celebration. This permit shall be in
<br />addition to all other permits which are or may be required for conducting
<br />said event, or any activity associated therewith.
<br />
<br />8.
<br />
<br />Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify
<br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br />commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or
<br />claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature
<br />whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to
<br />perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out
<br />of said event, or any activities herein permitted.

<br />Miscellaneous and Additional Matters.
<br />
<br />The Permittee agrees to the following:

<br />Provide 24 hr security guards at the scene of the event.
<br />

<br />Provide traffic monitors to keep unauthorized vehicles from
<br />parking in parking lots of the business in the 1100 block of
<br />Chestnut and to facilitate customer traffic into those lots.
<br />
<br />*
<br />
<br />Provide barricades and to close those portions of the roadway
<br />mentioned in paragraph #3. (Refer to attached map.)
<br />

<br />Provide traffic monitors to keep pedestrian traffic from the southern
<br />portion of Chestnut Street which will remain open during the
<br />event.
