B) Obliqations Of The Elementary School District And Redwood City 2020 Form a representative leadership team which will: i) Participate in Gardner Center academy sessions and contribute to other cross-community activities and events. ii) Develop a blueprint for the Community Schools in partnership with the Gardner Center. iii) Provide oversight for the implementation, evaluation, and promotion of local project activities in accordance with the Community School design features - shared leadership, comprehensive family and youth resources, academic supports and youth engagement. 4) COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK LOOPS For the purpose of supporting ongoing and regular communication between the various parties, A) The Gardner Center Shall: i) Designate its Community Liaison, who is funded and supervised by the Gardner Center, to work with the identified leadership team in the areas of shared leadership and youth engagement, and to support efforts to develop comprehensive family and youth resources and academic supports. This liaison will also serve as a primary facilitator, information sharer, and broker between the Gardner Center and the leadership team of ACSD as it related to the work agreed upon between the Parties hereto. B) The Elementary School District And Redwood Citv 2020 (throuqh its leadership team) Shall: i) Identify and support a key community contact for ACSD for day-to-day logistics and communications matters related to the initiative. For the purpose of this initiative, these contacts will be the Redwood City Family Centers Director, the Elementary School District Assistant Superintendent, and the Redwood City 2020 Executive Director. 5) TERM The effective date of this Agreement is October 1, 2003, and unless earlier terminated pursuant to paragraph 6 below, the termination date shall be June 30, 2004. 6) TERMINATION The Gardner Center or the Elementary School District or Redwood City 2020 may terminate this Agreement by giving the non-terminating parties sixty (60) days prior written notice. 7) RESOURCE ALLOCATION Gardner Center will contribute a sum of up to $60,000 ("Funds") to the Elementary School District to support the purpose of this Agreement. These funds can be used to further the work of Community Schools in Redwood City, which can include but is not limited to: supporting staff that will support the local planning and early implementation efforts, providing stipends for participants of the leadership team, and funding to offset costs for substitutes for participating teachers.
