eaid local matching funds towards the project cost; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the cities of Redwood City and San Carlos have requested ~hat <br />County participate in cities' share of the local matchin~ funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to improve the Holly Stweet/ Route <br />101 Interchange in the cities of Redwood City and San Carlos; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a form of agreement.providinB for the payment for one-half of <br />the cities' cost of said improvement project and the granting of avigation <br />easements to the County has been presented to this Board of Supervisors; and <br /> <br /> IfltEI~EA$, the Director of Public Works has recommended to this Board that <br />said agreement be executed, and this Board finds it necessary and desirable that <br />said agreement be executed by this Board on behalf of the County of San Mateo: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED, that the Chairman o£ <br />this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute <br />said agreement with the cities of Redwood City and San Carlos and the State of <br />California for and on behalf of the County of San Hateo, and the signature of <br />the Clerk of this Board shall attest thereto. <br /> <br /> <br />
