D~:sh.~'l/21/86 <br /> <br /> COPY <br /> R E S o L u T I O N N O. 1 0 12 5 ~ ~ ,~ <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA (DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION) RELATING TO FUNDING RESPONSIBILITIES TO <br /> MODIFY THE HOLLY STREET INTERCHANGE ON STATE HIGHWAY <br /> ROUTE 101 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, the City of Redwood City <br />and the City of San Carlos have jointly requested the State of <br />California to modify the Holly Street Interchange on State <br />Highway Route 101 in San Mateo County from an existing 3-loop <br />clover leaf interchange to a 4-loop clover leaf by constructing a <br />fourth loop in the southwesterly quadrant, a new southbound <br />collector-distributor road, widening the overcrossing, modifying <br />existing traffic control signal systems and constructing other <br />required modifications (hereafter referred to as "Improvements"); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of California is willing to implement the <br />abovementioned Improvements by entering into an agreement with <br />the City of Redwood City pursuant to which the City of Redwood <br />City agrees and consents to bear part of the construction costs, <br />and fifty percent (50%) of all utilities protection, relocation <br />and/or removal costs required for the abovementioned <br />Improvements, as well as to maintain those portions of the <br />abovementioned Improvements that will be constructed within the <br />City of Redwood City's right-of-way and to ma~e no claim against <br /> <br />the State of California for any part of said maintenance <br />expenses; and <br /> <br /> 10125 <br /> <br /> <br />
