Final Acceptance — Partnership Courtyards Subdivision Recommendation: Accept, by Minute Order, the Partnership Courtyard Subdivision Improvements, and release the bonds following the submission of a Maintenance Bond in the amount of $28,540.00 (304) MINUTE ORDER 05-55 B. Final Acceptance — 2003 -2004 Street Overlay Project Recommendation: Accept the 2003 -2004 Street Overlay Project, and authorize the release of payment bond and retention. (304) MINUTE ORDER 05-56 6. STUDY SESSION A. Redwood City Water Supply Plan Public Works Services Director Ingram stated he would be highlighting the Urban Water Management Plan, stating that this was information requested by the City Council. Input was received from the City Council Utilities Subcommittee and staff was asked to bring the information to the Council. He utilized a PowerPoint presentation. The Plan reflects a two- pronged approach to reach 2010 goal and sustain balance. It shows how the City could absorb up to 7,115 new housing units by 2020. The Plan is not a. road map for land use and water supply will not constrain growth. Mayor Ira explained that this Plan is a tool to be used in the planning process and not to steer the process but -a requirement of the State. Public Comment: Peggy Bruggman asked for clarification on whether the 1,715 acre feet to be conserved by 2010 through the recycled water conservation means another 1,100 or if it is included in the figure. Nita Spangler stated that water use is going way up based on consumer pattems and the subject of groundwater has not been mentioned. She stated that at one time she was told there were 500 wells in Redwood City and that there are still people who put in wells and tap the water supply in that way.
