<br />DES:djt ~4/06/93 (058/34) <br />DES:df~ J4/06/93R <br /> <br />a RIG I N A L <br /> <br />4/5/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 11957 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING INTERIM HOUSING RELOCATION BENEFIT <br />GUIDELINES PURSUANT TO REDWOOD CITY CODE SECTION 42.10 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to Ordinance No. <br /> <br />2048 <br /> <br />adopted May <br /> <br />11, <br /> <br />1992, this Council enacted Chapter 42 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City relating to residential relocation benefits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Section 42.10 of said Code that the Director of <br /> <br />Housing and Redevelopment shall prepare rules and regulations for <br /> <br />the implementation of said Chapter which, upon approval by this <br /> <br />Council, shall become effective; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Director has presented to, <br /> <br />and this Council <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />reviewed, <br /> <br />certain proposed <br /> <br />regulations <br /> <br />referenced herein- <br /> <br />after; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />approve <br /> <br />and adopt <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />regulations <br /> <br />on an <br /> <br />interim urgency basis, <br /> <br />in order to provide <br /> <br />relocation assistance to persons critically in need thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />further <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purpose <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />adopting <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />regulations <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />an <br /> <br />interim basis <br /> <br />to provide <br /> <br />an <br /> <br />opportunity to review the practical effect and operation of said <br /> <br />regulations in order to determine whether revision or amendment <br /> <br />thereto may in the future be appropriate; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council hereby finds and determines that there is <br /> <br />an urgent need <br /> <br />for the adoption of the hereinafter described <br /> <br />" "-----_.._."._~--".--._-- <br />
