SWC:mmg 8/l/88 (#37/011) <br /> SWC:aml ~ /88R <br /> <br />apprenticeship. <br /> <br /> 11. SECTION 3 OF THE HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT OF <br />1968. Heron Court hereby agrees that it will company with the <br />provisions of Section 3 of the HUD Act, the regulations set forth <br />in 24 CFR part 135 and all applicable rules and orders of the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and that it <br />will, to the greatest extent feasible, make available <br />opportunities for training and employment under this contract to <br />lower income residents of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 12. INSURANCE. Heron Court shall at all times during this <br />agreement take out and maintain a policy of comprehensive general <br />liability insurance in an amount of not less than a combined <br />single limit of $1,000,000 for personal injury (including bodily <br />injury and death) and property damage. In addition to said <br />insurance, Heron Court shall file with City an endorsement naming <br />City, its Council, boards, commissions, officers, agents and <br />employees as additional insureds in regard to the aforementioned <br />insurance. Such insurance and the evidence of such insurance <br />submitted to City shall: <br /> <br /> (a) Provide that such insurance is primary coverage and <br /> will not be affected by any other insurance carried by <br /> City. Such insurance carried by City shall be <br /> considered excess insurance only. <br /> (b) Provide that City shall be given 30 days written notice <br /> before a change in such coverage or cancellation shall <br /> be effective. <br /> <br /> (c) Provide that a cross-liability or severability of <br /> interest provision is contained in such insurance <br /> policy. <br /> <br /> <br />
