DAS:b 3/3/88 (#35) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> <br /> TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT HESS ROAD AND WOODSIDE <br /> ROAD - THE HILLSDALE GROUP <br /> THIS AGREEMENT entered into this ~ day of~~ , <br />1988, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, hereinafter referred to <br />as "City" and Woodside Retirement Investors, a California Limited <br />Partnership, dba THE HILLSDALE GROUP, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Hillsdale"; <br /> <br /> WITNE S SETH : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Hillsdale is the owner of a parcel of land commonly <br />known as 485 Woodside Road upon which a 274 unit senior citizens ~D <br />facility ("Project") is being constructed; and ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator of the City Community ~D <br />Development Department has approved Planned Development No. PD ~ <br />10302-7 ("Permit") for the Project subject to numerous conditions <br />including requiring that Hillsdale "[S]hall contribute fifty <br />(50%) of the costs for a traffic signal at Hess Road and Woodside <br /> <br />Road" in the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> THE PARTIES HERETO DO HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Hillsdale shall, and hereby agrees, to construct and <br /> <br />pay for one-half the total cost of construction of a traffic <br />signal system to be built at the intersection of Hess Road and <br />Woodside Road ("Traffic Signal"); and Hillsdale shall, at its own <br />cost and expense, construct all other improvements, furnish all <br /> <br /> <br />
