<br />equipment responding to the emergency. The responsible <br />jurisdiction shall exercise said command through the fire officer of <br />the jurisdiction providing aid. The Incident Command System shall <br />be the command system used at multiple agency responses. The <br />personnel of the jurisdiction, which furnished the equipment, will <br />ordinarily operate the equipment at the emergency scene. <br /> <br />B. Judicious Use of Personnel and EQuipment <br /> <br />It shall be the responsibility of the fire officer of the responsible <br />jurisdiction to utilize the staffing and equipment from the jurisdiction <br />providing aid only to the extent that is required to bring the <br />emergency under control. <br /> <br />C. General Strateaic Objectives <br /> <br />The agency having the incident command responsibility will strive <br />to carry out the following strategic objectives. <br /> <br />. Provide for the safety of the population within the fire area <br />and for the safety of the fire fighters. <br /> <br />. Protect residences, structures and other improvements. <br /> <br />. Confine the fire to the smallest area possible. <br /> <br />. Limit environmental damage that might be caused by <br />firefighting apparatus. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />REPORTS: <br /> <br />The responsible jurisdiction, when on the scene, will be responsible <br />for completing all reports, including but not limited to reports <br />mandated by local and state governments and agencies. <br /> <br />If the responsible jurisdiction does not arrive on the scene, the <br />jurisdiction providing aid shall be responsible for filing, recording <br />and storing of all required reports according to its standard <br />procedure. <br /> <br />2 <br />
