Conduct an inventory of the existing irrigation system to determine the extent <br />of the necessary renovations and new tie in points for electrical and water service. Obtain <br />sample(s) of existing topsoil for lab analysis to determine proper amendments for new <br />planting. Photograph the existing medians for "in-house" reference and to document <br />existing conditions. <br /> <br />Base Sheets: Prepare base sheets at 1"=20' -0" scale using base data and record drawings <br />provided by the City. Base sheets will be prepared on 30" x 42" standard City title block <br />sheets. At this scale, on this size sheet, there would be a total of 8 base sheets with 3 <br />road strips per sheet with matchlines. <br /> <br />Preliminary Design: Prepare design concept(s) for landscaping, median entry signs and <br />related improvements along £1 Camino Real from the Atherton to the San Carlos City <br />limits. Plans shall include plan view, elevation and sectional sketches necessary for staff <br />evaluation and public presentation. Render all drawings in color. <br /> <br />Cost Estimates: Prepare a detailed estimate of probable construction costs for all <br />landscape related site improvements and other project costs. <br /> <br />Schedule: Develop comprehensive project schedule from pre-design through <br />construction. Update schedule as necessary to accommodate project scope changes and <br />public meetings. <br /> <br />Staff Meetings: Attend a total of four (4) meetings with City staff and the £1 Camino <br />Real Task Force for design review and discussion of project scope, schedule and budget. <br /> <br />Caltrans SubmittallReview: Meet with Caltrans and review proposed design. Submit <br />plans for their review and approval. Respond to minor revisions. <br /> <br />Public Review: Facilitate and conduct a total of three (3) public information sessions to <br />inform the public ofthe nature ofthe project and receive input into the design concepts. <br /> <br />523 King Street.
