<br />.' <br /> <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />AGREEMENT WITH INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR <br /> <br />Agreement No. 45000-05-C'2>Cf'f- <br />Exhibit "I" <br /> <br />Agreement between the Count), of San Mateo and City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Use Additional Sheets as Necessary <br /> <br />L Description of Senices to be Performed bv the Contractor <br /> <br />Contractor (City of Redwood City) shall funúsh all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision necessary to <br />provide complete and continuous care of all lawn. trees, shrubs, and ground covers, for ongoing maintenance and other landscaping <br />services at Garlield School Playing Fields as per attached Proposal (Exhibit liB"). Contractor shall submit a cost report to the County <br />for any additional work needed. The County and Contractor shall agree to the scope and. cost of any additional work and the <br />additional work shall be authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or ills designated representative before said work is <br />peñonned. Charges for work performed by the Contractor not authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or his duly <br />authorized representative will not be paid by the County. <br /> <br />The term of this Agreement is for July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2006 a twenty-four month period at the fees quoted on the attached <br />Proposal dated April 27, 2004 (Exhibit "B"). . <br /> <br />n. Amount and Method ofPavment <br /> <br />Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County project number, complete scope of work, <br />specific work completed., number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. <br /> <br />In any event, the total payment for services on Contractor (City of Redwood City) shall not exceed $55,670 (Fifty-Five Thousand, Six <br />Hundred. Seventy Dollars and No/OO) and the County shall have the right to withhold payment if the County determines that the <br />quantity and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable. <br /> <br />ill. Prevailin!! Wa!!e <br /> <br />When applicable, the Contractor hereby agrees to pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages and be responsible for compliance <br />with all the provisions of the CalifomiaLabor Code, Article 2~Wages, Chapter 1, Part 7, Division 2, Section 1770 et seq.. A copy of <br />the prevailing wage scale established by the Department of Industrial Relations is on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, <br />and available at www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR or by phone at 415-703-4774.
