In June 2002, the City of Redwood City accepted the newly renovated sports field at Garfield School and entered into an Agreement with t~e County of San Mateo, for the maintenance' of the playing fields at Garfield School. On behalf of .the City Manager, the City of Redwood City wishes to extend our existing Agreement (County of San Mateo Agreement No. 49100-03-0001) for landscape maintenance of Garfield School Sports Field. The current Agreement provided for payments to the City of Redwood City in the amount of $24,042 for 2002-03 FY and $25,175 for 2003-04 FY. The increase in cost for our services over the next two year~ is primarily for employee salary .and benefit costs.
