<br />ARTICLE VllI - TERMINATION <br /> <br />Section 8.1. Termination. This Agreement shall continue until terminated by any Agency <br />in the manner hereinafter provided. <br /> <br />Section 8.2. Effective Dates of Termination. On or before July 1, 1999, any Agency may <br />terminate their membership in the Authority and their participation in this Agreement via written <br />notice to all Agencies pursuant to Section 9.1, without cause and without additional obligation <br />to the Authority, subject to the terms and conditions of Section 2.3. After July 1, 1999, <br />termination shall require written notice to all Agencies, pursuant to Section 9.1, on or before <br />December 15th of each year. Termination shall then be effective on July 1st of the succeeding <br />year. <br /> <br />Section 8.3. Disposition of Assets. Upon the termination of this Agreement, any Joint <br />Equipment acquired by the Authority during the period of its existence and still on hand shall be <br />distributed to the Agencies in the manner to be determined by mutual agreement at the time of <br />termination on the basis of appraised value at the time of termination and in accordance with the <br />allocation formula determined in Section 6.3 which was in effect at the time of acquisition. <br /> <br />""-"'."."
