<br />ARTICLE IX - MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS <br /> <br />Section 9.1. Notices. Notices hereunder shall be in writing and shall be sufficient if <br />delivered to: <br /> <br />Belmont - <br /> <br />Chief of Police, City of Belmont, 1215 Ralston Ave, Belmont, CA <br />94002 <br /> <br />Foster City - <br /> <br />Chief of Police, City of Foster City, 1030 E. Hillsdale Blvd., Foster <br />City, CA 94404 <br /> <br />Hillsborough - <br /> <br />Chief of Police, Town of Hills borough, 1600 Floribunda Avenue, <br />Hillsborough, CA 94010 <br /> <br />Redwood City - Police Chief, City of Redwood City, 1301 Maple Street, Redwood <br />City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />San Carlos - <br /> <br />Chief of Police, City of San Carlos, 600 Elm Street, San Carlos, CA <br />94070-3085 <br /> <br />Section 9,2. Section Headings. All section headings in this Agreement are for <br />convenience of reference only and are not to be construed as modifÿing or governing the <br />language in the section referred to or as defining or limiting the scope of any provision of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 9.3. Consent. Any consent or approval required by this Agreement shall not be <br />unreasonably withheld. <br /> <br />Section 9.4. Law Governing. This Agreement is made in the State under the constitution <br />and laws of the State and is to be so construed. If there is a dispute arising ftom this <br />Agreement, the Agencies shall engage in mediation. If the dispute cannot be resolved by <br />mediation, and any of the Agencies proceed to litigation, the successful Agency(ies) shall be <br />awarded reasonable attorney's fees. <br /> <br />Section 9.5. Amendments. This Agreement may be amended at any time, or ftom time <br />to time, except as limited by applicable regulations or laws of any jurisdiction having authority, <br />by one or more supplemental written agreements executed by the Agencies either as required in <br />order to carry out any of the provisions of this Agreement or for any other purpose, including <br />without limitation addition of new parties (including any legal entities or taxing areas heretofore <br />or hereafter created) in pursuance of the purposes of this Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 9.6. Severability. Should any part, term or provision of this Agreement be <br />determined by the courts to be illegal or in conflict with any law of the State, or otherwise be <br />rendered unenforceable or ineffectual, the validity of the remaining portions or provisions shall <br />not be affected thereby. <br /> <br />"....----..
