<br />4. <br /> <br />STRUCTURR OF THR RRDWOOD CITY HEAl ,THY START NETWORK <br />A. The Redwood City Healthy Start Network <br /> <br />The Redwood City Healthy Start Organizational Committee shall meet <br />monthly and be composed of one representative from each of the entities <br />who have assigned personnel to work at the family resource center, to <br />include but not be limited to the following representatives; the <br />Administrator of Student Support Services representing the Redwood City <br />School District, the South County Regional Supervisor representing the <br />Human Services Agency of San Mateo, the Red Morton Assistant Center <br />Supervisor representing the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Department, the Director of Youth and Family <br />Services representing the San Mateo County of Education; the Executive <br />Director of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center; the Director of the <br />Child Abuse Prevention Center; the Principal of Taft School; the Principal <br />of Fair Oaks School; the Principal of Hoover School; and the Director of <br />Redwood City 2000. <br />The Redwood City Healthy Start Organizational Committee shall provide <br />leadership to the Healthy Start collaborative and will have the following <br />functions: <br />a) Establish operating agreements for the Redwood City Healthy Start <br />Network <br />Oversee the activities of the Redwood City Network and its staff <br />Coordinate joint supervision of staff <br />Designate standards and criteria for evaluation of the work <br />completed by the Redwood City Healthy Start Network. <br />Assist in the development of resources to support the program. <br />Approve budget and commitment of resources <br />Assist in the establishment of a Community Council, which will <br />allow for expanded participation by neighborhood representatives, <br />parents and the community at large, in the program. <br />Oversee the reporting of information to the program's funders. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br /> <br />e) <br />f) <br />g) <br /> <br />h) <br /> <br />ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES <br />The Redwood City Healthy Start Network is a network of school based family resource <br />centers and pediatric clinics. The Network shall direct its efforts to the communities <br />encompassed by the Taft, Fair Oaks and Hoover School's attendance areas. The <br />Redwood City Healthy Start Network exists to provide coordinated student and family <br />support services, which are delivered through an interagency- integrated service delivery <br />system. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY HEALTHY START NETWORK STAFF <br />It is understood that the Redwood City Healthy Start Network will require the services of <br />a Project Director and administrative support staff.
