4. STRUCTURR OF THR RRDWOOD CITY HEAl ,THY START NETWORK A. The Redwood City Healthy Start Network The Redwood City Healthy Start Organizational Committee shall meet monthly and be composed of one representative from each of the entities who have assigned personnel to work at the family resource center, to include but not be limited to the following representatives; the Administrator of Student Support Services representing the Redwood City School District, the South County Regional Supervisor representing the Human Services Agency of San Mateo, the Red Morton Assistant Center Supervisor representing the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, the Director of Youth and Family Services representing the San Mateo County of Education; the Executive Director of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center; the Director of the Child Abuse Prevention Center; the Principal of Taft School; the Principal of Fair Oaks School; the Principal of Hoover School; and the Director of Redwood City 2000. The Redwood City Healthy Start Organizational Committee shall provide leadership to the Healthy Start collaborative and will have the following functions: a) Establish operating agreements for the Redwood City Healthy Start Network Oversee the activities of the Redwood City Network and its staff Coordinate joint supervision of staff Designate standards and criteria for evaluation of the work completed by the Redwood City Healthy Start Network. Assist in the development of resources to support the program. Approve budget and commitment of resources Assist in the establishment of a Community Council, which will allow for expanded participation by neighborhood representatives, parents and the community at large, in the program. Oversee the reporting of information to the program's funders. 1. 2. b) c) d) e) f) g) h) ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES The Redwood City Healthy Start Network is a network of school based family resource centers and pediatric clinics. The Network shall direct its efforts to the communities encompassed by the Taft, Fair Oaks and Hoover School's attendance areas. The Redwood City Healthy Start Network exists to provide coordinated student and family support services, which are delivered through an interagency- integrated service delivery system. 5. REDWOOD CITY HEALTHY START NETWORK STAFF It is understood that the Redwood City Healthy Start Network will require the services of a Project Director and administrative support staff.
