<br />Agreement Number: 03-73-06-5334- TF <br />Accounting Code: 383-7306-672 <br /> <br />COOPERATIVE SERVICE AGREEMENT (TRUST FUND) <br />BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (CITY) <br />AND <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (USDA) <br />ANIMAL AND PLANT HEALTH INSPECTION SERVICE (APHIS) <br />WILDLIFE SERVICES (WS) <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1 <br /> <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to conduct a predator management plan to provide <br />protection for endangered species on the area known as Redwood Shores Peninsula "within <br />the Public Area" (the Area) which is defined as public area owned by the City (other than <br />proprietary areas) and includes any public street, alley, highway, right-of-way, and public <br />pedestrian and vehicular-easement. Work will be principally conducted on the exterior <br />levee segments that have restricted public access. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br /> <br />Authority exists under the Animal Damage Control Act of March 2, 1931 (7 u.S.C. <br />426-426c) and the Rural Development, Agriculture, and Related Agencies Appropriations <br />Act, 1988 (pL. 100202) for WS to cooperate with States, individuals, public and private <br />agencies, organizations, and institutions in the management of wild mammals and birds <br />injurious to wildlife and human health and safety. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br /> <br />The predator management activities will be conducted in accordance with the Scope of <br />Work/Budget Plan (Attached). <br /> <br />ARTICLE 4 <br /> <br />The City shall: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Pay for operational and administrative support rendered by WS pursuant to <br />this agreement, not to exceed the amount agreed upon in the Budget Plan. <br />This amount will cover work for a 12-month period for 25 hours per week. <br />
