1. CITY'S SERVICES. City shall furnish landscape maintenance services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. 2. COMPENSATION. Authority shall compensate City for services rendered for the 36-month period during the initial or renewal term hereof in an amount equal to the annual salary, including the value of fringe benefits, for the position of Landscape Gardener, as that position is classified and described in City's competitive service or merit personal system, plus an amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of said salary and value of benefits for administrative overhead. The amount of said salary shall be determined by reference to City's salary resolution and the Memorandum of Understanding by and between City and the recognized employee representation organization for that position. If, during the initial or any renewal Term hereof, the position of Landscape Gardener is revised, deleted or otherwise changed substantially, reference shall be made to such other position whose duties most nearly approximate those of Landscape Gardener for purposes of determining compensation hereunder. Compensation payable hereunder by Authority to City shall be adjusted, from time to time during the initial and any renewal term hereof, in an amount corresponding to adjustments to the aforesaid salary and/or valuation of fringe benefits. For reference, only, said compensation, as of the date of this agreement, is Fifty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-four and No/100 Dollars ($59,944.00), calculated as follows: (i) Forty-four Thousand Five Hundred Fifty- three and No/100 Dollars ($44,553.00), representing salary, plus (ii) Seven Agmt-222 F :/s h aredlRedwood/Cou n cil DES:djk 01/?1/QQ 2 ".
