<br />used in this paragraph do not include vehicles, tools and equipment customarily <br /> <br />and generally used by City's employees in carrying out landscape maintenance <br /> <br />services. <br /> <br />Said supplies and materials may be purchased directly by Authority, or, <br /> <br />upon agreement of City, by City, subject to reimbursement by Authority at cost. <br /> <br />Invoices for reimbursement of costs of supplies and materials purchased by City <br /> <br />on behalf of Authority shall be submitted to Authority for payment concurrently <br /> <br />with invoices for compensation pursuant to paragraph 3. <br /> <br />5. STANDARD OF PERFORMANCE. City shall perform its landscape <br /> <br />maintenance services hereunder in an efficient and effective manner conforming <br /> <br />to generally acceptable standards for such services within the professional <br /> <br />landscape maintenance industry within the San Francisco Bay Area. <br /> <br />Representatives from Authority and City shall meet at least annually to <br /> <br />discuss the manner and quality of the Standards of Performance of the <br /> <br />landscape maintenance services. <br /> <br />6. TERM. The term of this agreement shall commence December 12, <br /> <br />1998, and expire December 11, 2001, unless sooner terminated by either party <br /> <br />as provided in paragraph 8. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this agreement may <br /> <br />be renewed for additional 1-year terms upon agreement of the parties evidenced <br /> <br />by motions to that effect by City's City Council, and Authority's governing <br /> <br />Commission, respectively. <br /> <br />7. DEFENSE/INDEMNIFICATION.
