<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />7/14/93 (004/35) <br />/19/93R <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />declares <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />intention <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />disestablish the Area in accordance with the BrA Law for the <br /> <br />following reasons: <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Subsequent to adoption of the above-referenced <br />Resolution No. 11783, no activities were conducted <br />by, nor were improvements made by or on behalf of, <br />the Area during fiscal year July 1, 1992 <br />June 30, 1993; <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />The Advisory Board heretofore appointed for the <br />Area has submitted no annual report to this <br />Council in accordance with the BIA Law (Gov't. <br />Code §36533) for fiscal year July 1, 1993 <br />June 30, 1994; <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />No proposals for conducting further activities or <br />providing or constructing improvements by or on <br />behalf of the Area within the foreseeable future, <br />or otherwise, have been made to this Council; <br /> <br />There appears to be insufficient interest of <br />owners or operators of businesses within the Area <br />to justify its continuing existence. <br /> <br />This Council hereby finds and determines that there are <br /> <br />no remaining funds derived from, or other assets acquired with, <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />revenues of the assessments heretofore levied within the Area <br /> <br />therefore, <br /> <br />disposal <br /> <br />thereof. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />provision <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />no <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />A public hearing <br /> <br />shall be held on <br /> <br />the ques tion of <br /> <br />time <br /> <br />disestablishment of the Area on the following date and at the <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />place <br /> <br />hereinafter <br /> <br />specified, <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />hearing <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />persons interested in the matter shall be given the opportunity <br />to be heard: <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />Monday, August <br /> <br />16, <br /> <br />1993 <br /> <br />Time: <br /> <br />7:30 p.m., or soon thereafter <br />as the matter may be heard <br /> <br />Place: <br /> <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />. -.---....-,..--.-..-.---.- <br />
