<br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />AM to 6:00 PM, each day. Set-up time will commence at 5:00 PM on <br />September 17 1993. The sidewalks and streets will be completely clear <br />by 8:00 PM, September 19, 1993. <br /> <br />Wine sales will cease by 5:00 PM on each day of operation. <br /> <br />Course Control. Those portions of an event taking place in the public <br />rights of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br />designated by the Chief of Police. Should the Chief of Police <br />determine that the provision of Police Officers is required for the <br />control of traffic in connection with said event, Permittee agrees to <br />reimburse City for costs associated therewith. <br /> <br />Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and <br />property damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, <br />boards, commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or <br />additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal <br />injury or death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the <br />conducting of the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted <br />or alleged to have arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of <br />Permittee in connection therewith, in the amounts of $500,000 for each <br />person and $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage <br />insurance for damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the <br />loss of use thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Evidence of such <br />insurance coverage in form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by <br />Permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the <br />event. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Damage to Public Property. Permittee shall reimburse the City for <br />the costs for any damage to City owned property in the vicinity of the <br />designated route, caused by or arising out of, the conducting of a1993 <br />Arts and Wine Festival permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to <br />act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other markings <br />placed in or upon public property, including the public right of way, <br />shall be removed immediately following said event. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate <br />and applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the <br />conducting of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This <br />permit shall be in addition to all other permits which are or may be <br />required for conducting a1993 Arts and Wine Festival or any <br />associated activity. <br /> <br />Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br />commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br />claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature <br />whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />. ,... .~_..,-_.._-_. .._...~-....
