JAH:dft 10/96/93 (009/36) 0 RIG I N A L 11/8/93 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12097 ---------- -- RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF FRANKLIN STREET AND RETAINING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT THEREIN, AND VACATING A STORM WATER EASEMENT AND A SEWER AND WATER EASEMENT WITHIN THE AREA IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY BOUNDED BY JAMES AVENUE, THE RAILROAD TRACKS, JEFFERSON AVENUE AND EL CAMINO REAL WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City by its Resolution No. 12081, declared its intention to vacate a portion of Franklin Street and to reserve therein a public service easement, and to vacate a storm water easement and a sewer and water easement, as therein and as hereinafter described, pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, notice of the Council's intention to vacate and to reserve, respectively, the aforesaid easements has been published and posted in accordance with such authority; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held at which evidence was taken and all interested persons were heard; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The location, purpose and extent of the vacation of the portion of Franklin Street subject to this proceeding have been submitted to and reported upon by the Planning Commission to be in conformity with the adopted General Plan, and this Council has considered the General Plan prior to and in relation to each of the street and easement vacations effected by this resolution. , -" --""."
