<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />FXS:dft 6/?7/91R (064/29) <br />7, ./91R <br /> <br />11/18/91 <br /> <br />-------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11641 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING NON-ACCESS RESTRICTIONS; <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF ADDITIONAL PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY; <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF BUS SHELTER EASEMENT AND <br />DEDICATION OF NON-ACCESS LINE <br /> <br />(REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY - TWIN DOLPHIN DRIVE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part III, Chapter 4, <br /> <br />of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />(commencing with <br /> <br />§8330) , <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Legislative <br /> <br />body may <br /> <br />summarily vacate a public service easement, <br /> <br />including an access <br /> <br />restriction, if such easement has been superseded by relocation; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, non-access restrictions over portions of a public <br /> <br />street <br /> <br />(Redwood Shores Parkway and Twin Dolphin) <br /> <br />are no longer <br /> <br />needed, because such restrictions have been relocated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />wishes <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />grant <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />additional <br /> <br />right-of-way <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />widening <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />Shores <br /> <br />Parkway and a grant of easement for the construction of a bus <br /> <br />shelter on property adjacent to Redwood Shores Parkway and the <br /> <br />dedication of a non-access line along the Redwood Shores Parkway; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council has authorized the City Clerk to accept on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, that certain "Grant of <br />Additional Public Right-of-Way" (Redwood Shores Parkway) and <br />"Grant of Bus Shelter Easement" (Redwood Shores Parkway) and <br /> <br />"Dedication of Non-Access Line" <br /> <br />(Redwood Shores Parkway) offered <br />
