<br />DUPUCATE <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO FUNDING AGREEMENT <br /> <br />This Second Amendment to Funding Agreement ("Second Amendment") is entered into <br /> <br />the ló~day of~ 2000 by and between the San Mateo County Transportation <br /> <br />Authority, a public agency ("Authority"), and the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation ("City") <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into a Funding Agreement dated September 28, 1998 <br /> <br />("Agreement") providing for the completion of a Project Study Report/Project Report <br /> <br />Environmental Document for the addition of one lane in each direction of travel on Woodside <br /> <br />Road between El Camino Real and Broadway in the City. Pursuant to the Agreement, the <br /> <br />Authority agreed to contribute up to $158,000 toward completion of the Project ("Authority <br /> <br />Allocation") . <br /> <br />B. The Authority, by Resolution No. 1999-22, authorized the allocation of an <br /> <br />additional $43,400 to fund completion of the Project Study Report. <br /> <br />C. The Authority, by Resolution No. 2000-17, authorized the allocation of an <br /> <br />additional $622,800 to fund the preparation of final design plans and specifications to widen <br /> <br />Woodside Road between El Camino Real and Broadway. The parties now desire to amend the <br /> <br />Agreement to reflect the foregoing and related understandings. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Authority's Contribution.
