<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING - <br />WOODSIDE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT (PHASE II) <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into thiS). r<; /!3--day of <br /> <br /> <br /> 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />! <br />muni jpal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and MARK THOMAS & <br /> <br />CO., INC. of Redwood City, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the widening of Woodside Road between the <br /> <br />limits of Broadway and EI Camino Real in the City of Redwood City (the <br /> <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires additional <br /> <br />professional consulting engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the additional aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br /> <br />engineering and related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT.
