Thirty (30) sets of half size plans (11" x 17") and draft special <br />provisions will be provided for Caltrans, City/TA review. <br /> <br />95% PS&E Submittal <br /> <br />This phase incorporates comments from the 65% PS&E submittal and produces plans and <br />specifications for Caltrans and City final review. Thirty (30) sets of half size plans (11" x <br />17") and special provisions will be provided for Caltrans and City/T A review. <br /> <br />An internal Quality Control check will be made and comments incorporated prior to <br />submittal to Caltrans and TA for final review. <br /> <br />Engineer's Estimate will be revised based on an updated quantity takeoff. <br /> <br />100% PS&E Submittal <br /> <br />Comments from the 95% review will be incorporated to produce the final PS&E for <br />Caltrans and City/TA review and approval. Any comments will be addressed and the bid <br />documents produced. The signed full size reproducible vellums will be submitted to the <br />City of Redwood City for bidding. The City of Redwood City will produce all bid sets. <br />MTCo will prepare the Standard Encroachment Pennit Application for the construction <br />within State right of way. The Resident Engineer's File will be prepared and submitted <br />to the City prior to start of construction. The Survey File will be prepared and will <br />include copies of all survey notes and calculations for control lines and right of way, <br />slope stake listing, rough grade construction, finish grades, and cross sections. <br /> <br />Bidding <br /> <br />MTCo will attend the pre-bid meeting with the City. The City will prepare the agenda <br />and run the meeting. MTCo will provide input as necessary to the City regarding <br />inquiries from the contractors on the bid documents. <br /> <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The alignment of Woodside Road will not change form the approved Geometric <br />Approval Drawing as included in the signed PSR/PR. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Retaining walls will be Caltrans Standard type retaining walls with no aesthetic <br />treatment. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Noise barriers will be Caltrans Standard masonry block walls. Block type and <br />color to be selected by the City staff.
