JAH:djm 12/~~/89 (RD-00I/#42) JAH:djm 12/d/89R ORIGfNAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE SAN MATEO COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT COVERING TAX INCREMENT FROM REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO.2 THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this ~Ó~h -~ ( e I~,p----" , day of 1989, by and between the San Mateo County Mosquito Abatement District (the "District") and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the "Agency"). 1. RECITALS. The Agency and the District make this Agreement in light of the following facts: a. Redevelopment Project No. 2 of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City was adopted in the year 1982 by Ordinance No. 1862 of the City of Redwood City, and the same was amended in 1985 by Ordinance No. 1911 of the City of Redwood City. b. The Agency and the District entered an agreement (the "1983 Agreement", evidenced on the Agency side by its Resolution No. RD - 83-02) with respect to the sharing of a certain portion of the Tax Increment generated by the Existing Project Area. c. The Agency is in the process of adopting the Second Amendment of Redevelopment Project No. 2 (the "Second Amendment"), two of the objectives of which are the expansion of the project area and the increase of the maximum amount of Tax Increment that can be distributed to the Agency in connection wi th proj ect No. 2. The Project Area of Redevelopment Project No.2 as it will exist after the adoption of the Second Amendment is shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, with the territory proposed to be added shown thereon.
