<br />EXHiBIT "A" <br />Hcrkner and Hoover Pools -Schematic Design and Seoping Phase <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK.: <br /> <br />1. Gather infonnation available for both sites in the form of drawings, specs, photos, and <br />site visits as appropriate. <br />2. Review and analyze all existing information. <br />3. Draw site. floor and ceiling plans of the existing conditions on our CADD computer, <br />and sections and other drawings as necessary for the schematic phase. <br />4. Hire and work with our pool consultant to get a preliminary report, site review and <br />recommendations for the pools. This will not include any pool mechanical. <br />5. Hire our mechanical and electrical consultants for an initial review of existing toilet <br />room and building plumbing and HV AC systems (except for poot plumbing and <br />equipment) <br />6. Review code compliance items and applicable code requirements. <br />7. Produce a schematic level set of documents outlining a suggested total scope of work <br />to accomplish aU of the items we have discussed <br />8. Hire our cost estimator to review the set of documents, and develop a cost budget for <br />the proposed improvements. . <br />9. Consider alternatives for roof replacement or new roof and/or other items for both <br />facilities depending on findings of our site visits-develop rough costs for any <br />alternatives that might make sense. <br />10. Meet with you and the committee to present our findings and preliminary documents, <br />and to discuss the cost impacts and budget required. <br />11 Meet with you and/or the committee to develop priorities and a final scope of work <br />and budget. <br /> <br />Our work and documents will be accomplished in such a way that, if authorized. we may <br />carry them forward into the construction documents phase, bidding and constrocùon <br />administration under a separate full scope contract for construction drawings. bidding and <br />constn..lction adminiStration <br /> <br />The City will provide forces to open walls and other areas to allow us to explore and find, <br />as much as possible, all items in need of repait and/or replacement As discussed, it Mil <br />be impossible to bring the existing buildings all the way up to today's code requirements <br />and some compromises will be necessary We will suggest the most cost effective <br />approaches to accomplishing the upgrades and repairs <br />
