<br />~ /LJ- / <br /> <br />REPORT <br /> <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the Library Director <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2005. <br /> <br />Su~ed . <br />Amendment to extend the agreement between the San Mateo County Library Joint <br />Powers Authority and the City of Redwood City through FY 2005-2006. . <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Recommendation to extend one more year, through the 2005-2006 fiscal year, the existing <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo County Library Joint Powers <br />Authority for sharing the costs of operating the Fair Oaks Library. <br /> <br />Background <br />The County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City have entered into a "Common <br />Use/Shared Facility- License Agreement" dated February 18, 2002 to operate the Fair <br />Oaks Library at the Middlefield Road facility. The current agreement covers the period of <br />FY 2002-03 through 2004-05.
