<br />3J-1 <br /> <br />for the installation and construction of rubberized grade crossings in the Cities of San <br /> <br />Mateo and Burlingame, (which crossings include Broadway, Howard Avenue, Oak <br />Grove, Peninsula Avenue [City of Burlingame], and 25th Avenue [City of San Mateo]); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the MTC requirements, and as part of the application <br /> <br />process, the City of Redwood City will allocate the necessary local matching of funds <br />not to exceed 11.5% and understands that the STP and CMAQ Improvement Program <br /> <br />funding is fixed at the programmed amount, and therefore, any cost increase cannot be <br /> <br />expected to be funded with STP or CMAQ Improvement Program Funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City approves the assurances set forth in the <br /> <br />project application, attached to this resolution; and to complete the project as described <br /> <br />in said application, if approved, as specified in MTC's TIP; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City understands that the funds must be <br /> <br />obligated by September 30, 2002, or the project may be removed from the program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1.
