<br />SßS <br /> <br />ARTICLE 4 <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City shall: <br /> <br />WS agrees: <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Pay to USDA-APillS-WS the amount of$48,134 per year to commence October <br />1, 1999 through September 30,2000. This amount is based on a budget for this 12 <br />month period submitted by WS to fund a maximum of 25 hours per week of <br />predator management activities (see Attachment No.2 of Exhibit A). Payment <br />must be made by August 31, 1999 in order for predator management work to <br />commence October 1, 1999. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Designate to WS an authorized representative who will serve as a contact under <br />this Agreement. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />- <br />Provide WS access to Public Area within the Area. The "Public Area" being <br />defmed as public area owned by the City (other than proprietary areas) and <br />includes any public street, alley, highway, right-of-way, and public pedestrian and <br />vehicular easement; post areas closed and secure areas as described in the <br />description of public access restrictions in thêU.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's <br />Biological Services Opinion, and allow WS to utilize all-terrain vehicles. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 5 <br /> <br />"'.,,' <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />To provide personnel, equipment, supplies, and other support material necessary <br />to perform predator management activities in accordance with the Scope of Work <br />and Budget Plan, Attachments 1 and 2. <br /> <br />To designate to the City of Redwood City an authorized representative who shall <br />administer activities pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />If, during the work period from October 1, 1999, through September 30, 2000, the <br />costs for the predator management activities do not equal $48,134 the difference <br />between the payment and the actual costs incurred for the above-described work <br />(the "carry-over amount") shall be carried over and applied to the following year's <br />predator management payment from the City of Redwood City thereby reducing <br />the predator management payment for the following year. <br /> <br />..:; <br /> <br />2 of4 <br /> <br />.~...-.. ._. -T . <br />
