RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION SCHEDULE OF FINES, OTHER PENALTIES, AND INTEREST FOR CERTAIN VIOLATIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF REDWOOD CITY, EFFECTIVE- ,2000 THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOllOWS: SECTION 1. Standard Fine. Except as otherwise specifically set forth in Section 2 below, the administrative citation fine amount for a first violation of the City Code of Redwood City shall be fifty dollars ($50.00). SECTION 2. Non-standard Fines. The administrative fines set forth below are hereby established for violations of the City Code of Redwood City sections listed below: Section Offense Administrative Citation Fine 14.119. Failure to affix signs required on shopping carts $10 per cart, with a maximum of $100 per citation 14.123. Failure to prepare or implement a written shopping cart plan in a timely manner Failure to reclaim an impounded shopping cart in 3 business days: First. second, and third occurrence in a 6-month period ending on June 30 and December 31 of each calendar year; Fourth, and subsequent occurrence in a 6-month period ending on June 30 and December 31 of each calendar year. $ 1,000.00 14.126. zero 50.00 SECTION 3. Second Violation. Except as otherwise set forth in Section 2 above, the fine amount for a second violation of the same code section by the same person within a thirty-six (36) month period shall be one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the fine amount listed in this Resolution for a first violation. SECTION 4. Third Violation.
